Why they built it

The finding was precise. The handoff was not.

Expert Radiology began with a practical communication problem. A radiologist could make the right call while the patient, provider, or attorney still struggled to locate and explain the most important finding.

Avery brought fellowship-trained neuroradiology. Cara brought legal training and the experience of watching evidence move through real decisions. Together, they built the report as a clinical product and a communication product.

In their own words

Cara and Avery, in 58 seconds.

Why the standard radiology report falls short, what clearer evidence changes, and the conviction behind the company they built together.

Avery: Hi, I’m Dr. Avery J. Knapp Jr., board-certified radiologist and neuroradiologist.

Cara: And I’m Cara Knapp, attorney and Co-Founder of Expert Radiology.

Cara and Avery: Together, we’ve helped hundreds of personal injury firms turn imaging into a strategic asset, not a bottleneck.

Cara: Here’s what we see: firms dealing with vague radiology reports, “may be consistent with,” “degenerative disease,” and other nonstandard terms. Language that creates doubt instead of clarity.

Avery: Our PrecisionPlus v3 reports fix this across the entire case spectrum. Illustrated findings that adjusters can’t ignore. Language that’s direct, defensible, and deposition-ready. Patient-friendly summaries that improve patient understanding and treatment compliance.

Avery: I’ve been deposed over 400 times. I know what language holds up and what gets picked apart. Every report we send is something I’d stand behind under oath.

Cara: If you’d like to see what the new standard in MRI imaging looks like, I’d love to show you.

Cara and Avery: Book a demo. We’ll walk you through some real examples.
